Like a Rolling Stone
Originally from Lubbock, Texas, my family moved to Houston in 1994. I graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1997 and Texas A&M University in 2002. From 2002-2005 I worked in the Oil & Gas industry as an engineer before enrolling at South Texas College of Law in 2005.
My wife and I were married at a small ceremony in Salida, Colorado on July 28, 2007.
In January 2008, we moved to Amarillo, Texas (two hours north of my hometown). In December 2008 Icompleted my J.D. (law degree). Â Subsequently, I took and passed the Texas State Bar Exam and the Patent Bar in February and March 2009, respectively.
What I Believe
As to the content on this website, I have made an attempt not to be too “preachy”. I am a Christian and generally support conservative political positions, but I’ll try not to let my background interfere with an honest search for truth. As Brennan Manning says,
When I get honest,
I admit I am a bundle of paradoxes.
I believe and I doubt...
I love and I hate...
Aristotle said I am a rational animal;
I say I am an angel
with an incredible capacity for beer.
I too am a bundle of paradoxes. I hope that whatever moral shortcomings I may have do not stand in your way of knowing God.
Thanks again for visiting my site, I hope that you enjoy what you find here.
