Moody Founder’s Banquet, 1981

I came across an audio recording at Shannon Warren’s blog.
What makes it special, apart from Lockridge himself, is the introduction and prayer afterwards by Tommy Nelson of Denton Bible Church.
You can listen to it here. Enjoy.

People are noticing. We have attendence figures of around 10k, even though BB tickets cost $20+ each.

Also, check out the prices for decent tickets in the secondary markets via ticket brokers. Wowzer.

Those photos remind me of a song we used to sing at Logos:

I see the Lord, seated on the throne - exalted.
And the train of his robe, fills the temple with Glory
And the whole Earth is filled (3X)
With His glory.

The Canyon was life changing for me too. I don't see how anyone could ever visit and leave there with any doubt of God's existence.

A decent part of my job has to do with the games that lawyers play in response to document requests.

Sometimes, when responding to querys for, lets say for example sales and costs of a particular product, the lawyers will produce 100,000 rows of transaction level data in tiny little print. Someone will then have to key in all of the relevant data and aggregate it into meaningful information. That process might take weeks, when an accountant within the company in question could have created that report in maybe 10 minutes.

That's an incredible story. I've played Sometimes By Step at our youth group meetings and I've always wondered what Rich was thinking when he wrote the verses to Sometimes by Step. I also wonder what's going on with Beaker. Step by Step is the only song I know of that he wrote. Is there more?

Speaking of Experts, I just found this quote:

"My definition of an expert in any field is a person who knows enough about what's really going on to be scared."
